OUTDOOR BURN BAN
Due to drought conditions across the area, the Lampasas County Commissioners Court has instituted an outdoor burn ban for unincorporated areas of the county. Burning of trash, brush and open campfires is prohibited countywide.
There are some exceptions to the ban including above-ground grills, household trash and controlled burns.
