The report from the Jan. 19 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 695, compared to 709 last sale and 436 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Slaughter cows were $2-$4 higher, and slaughter bulls were $1-$3 higher.
Feeder cattle accounted for 84 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 16 percent.
