Christmas Day temps hit record for Lampasas County

    Christmas Day saw recordbreaking temperatures, with a high of 81 in Lampasas. Representatives of the National Weather Service say the warm trend will continue into the new year.

    Lampasas is expected to experience mostly sunny skies today with a high near 79 and overnight temperatures in the mid-50s.

    Throughout the week, the county will see partly cloudy skies with high temperatures in the upper 70s.
