The report from the Nov. 17 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 912, compared to 781 last sale and 864 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers were $3-$5 lower; heifers were steady. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were $2-$4 lower.
Feeder cattle accounted for 73 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 27 percent.
