Today, Robert Groves will retire after 40 years at the Ajinomoto Foods North America plant in Lampasas.
“I guess I figured 40 years was enough,” he joked. Groves began working at the plant on Nov. 16, 1981, at the age of 29. T
“You need a job and you’ve got to get something going, and then if you can, you just stick with it,” Groves said.
