The city of Lampasas and the Lampasas Fire Department announced Wednesday the creation of two new positions and the recent promotions of personnel within the department.
Capt. Jon-Paul Harris has been promoted as deputy fire chief and fire marshal.
He replaces former fire marshal Ronnie Withers, who retired in July.
