Lampasas Fire Chief Jeff Smith, who serves as the city’s emergency coordinator, has reported a drop in coronavirus cases statewide and locally.
Texas had 262,786 active cases as of Sept. 27. Two weeks prior, the total was 303,932.
Locally, a decrease in COVID-19 also has been noted. Smith reported 259 active cases, down from the 381 cases reported two weeks ago.
