School year starts off ‘promising,’ officials say

    As the Lampasas and Lometa school districts have returned to full, in-person learning, both districts said the school year is off to a great start. Lampasas Independent School District has reported a 2% increase in first-day enrollment from the previous school year. LISD has 3,432 students enrolled in class compared to 3,367 to start last school year, an increase of 65 students. ...
