A man conducting a burn in barrels outside a structure caused a fire that resulted in a power outage Wednesday on the west side of town, Lampasas Fire Chief Jeff Smith said.
The Lampasas Fire Department responded to the fire about 6 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Avenue E.
