The report from the Aug. 11 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 484, compared to 778 last sale and 479 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, stockers were $3-$5 higher; feeders were steady to $3 lower. Slaughter cows were $1-$3 lower, and slaughter bulls were steady.
Feeder cattle accounted for 83 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 17 percent.
