Local ranchers attend signing of bill that seeks to limit farm liablity

    When Gov. Greg Abbott signed House Bill 365 in early June, Lampasans Mickey and Jani Edwards had the best places in the room — standing beside the governor, bearing smiles.

    The Texas Legislature passed, and Abbott signed into law, HB 365. That legislation made changes to the Texas Farm Animal Liability Act, or FALA.
