Under cloudy skies and warm air Wednesday morning, father-son duo Daniel and Rory Chapman waited patiently for their cane pole to make some movement – a sign of contact with a fish.
“Dad, I just want to go in there and grab one with my bare hands,” the 7-year-old Rory said to his father.
With a smile, Chapman told his child to be patient — like everyone else around them.
