Final draft of proposed livestock ordinance expected next week

For close to three months, Lampasas Chief of Police Sammy Bailey and her department, in consultation with members of the city staff, have worked to refine an animal ordinance.
This work is in response to concerns from residents about backyards full of livestock inside the city limits and, in some instances, animals running loose in the streets.
