Some school officials and a state coaches organization have offered pushback on a proposed bill that would allow homeschool students to participate in academic and athletic events sponsored by the University Interscholastic League.
On Thursday, the Texas House of Representatives voted 78 to 65 in favor of House Bill 547, the Tim Tebow/UIL Equal Access Bill.
