LMS soccer wins after scoring in opening minutes

    The Lampasas Middle School boys’ soccer team won again, taking the lead early Monday at Salado.

    Within the first three minutes of the game, Josiah Toeaina flicked a ball to Xavior Contreras, who chipped the goalkeeper for the Badgers’ first goal.

    Then, 25 minutes in, Zimri Vergara took a foul in the box, giving LMS a penalty kick.
