Enrique Prado Caso and Francisco Jaimes captured the regional championship in boys’ doubles and improved to 13-2 this season. They defeated Throckmorton 6-1, 6-0; Slidell 7-5, 6-4; Priddy 7-6(7-5), 6-4; and Lingleville 6-3, 6-1 at regionals in Whitney.
The Hornet duo will advance to the state tennis tournament May 20-21 at Blossom Tennis Center in San Antonio.
