Caroline White placed second in seventh-grade girls’ singles at the Gatesville Middle School tennis tournament on Saturday.
“She fought to come back from being down, but lost in a tie-breaker in the finals,” coach Laina White said.
“Talan Clements lost a tough third-place match and came home with fourth for seventh [grade] boys’ singles,” the coach added.
