Solid fielding, Whitehead’s homer lift Badgers past Lions
Ace Whitehead hit his first varsity career out-of-the-park home run to give Lampasas a 2-0 lead, just enough for the win on Tuesday. The Badgers won 2-1 over Brownwood, a team that beat them 13-10 in the first round of district play.
