Natural gas rates might increase in June

    The city of Lampasas approved a 45-day hold to investigate whether a gas provider rate increase proposal is authorized under state law. The vote came during Monday’s regular council meeting.

    According to a report from City Manager Finley deGraffenried, Atmos Energy — MidTex Division filed for a rate increase around Feb. 26.
