Keith Lee Brooks, 55, died on Feb. 2, 2021, at his residence in Lometa.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 6 at Chadwick Cemetery in Lometa. Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas has charge of arrangements.
Keith was born Aug. 25, 1965, in San Saba to Kenneth Lee and Roberta Darlene Brooks.
He was known as a man with a great sense of humor. For most of his career, Keith worked as a heavy equipment operator. One of his favorite hobbies was trapping hogs, and he was known as the "hog trapper."
Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Gay Lynn Brooks, and his parents.
Survivors include his son, Otis Lee Brooks and wife Carmen of Amarillo; daughters Jessica Faulstich and husband Tommy Garcia of Lometa, and Christina Gaines of Brownwood; brother, Dixon Brooks; sisters Rebecca Till, Connie Sturdivant and Lisa Pimm; and grandchildren Chloe Brooks, Rory Brooks, Abby Brooks, Angel, Ayden, Nollie Gaines, Finnian Gaines, Zec Gaines, Eliana Faulstich, Christopher Faulstich, Kaylee Faulstich, Emma Faulstich, Maddy Denton and Sierra Garcia.
