Mr. Ralph

Don Ray Ralph, 90, died on Jan. 24, 2021 at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 29 at Sneed Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Jan. 30 at Sneed Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.

Don was born March 15, 1930 in Haven, Kansas to Stewart and Mattie Ralph.

He was one of five mechanics who worked on the Tucker 48, commonly referred to as the Tucker Torpedo. Most of his career was spent at Youngstown Steel Company in Hammond, Indiana, where he retired after over 30 years of service.

Don was a member of First Baptist Church of Lampasas, where he served as a deacon.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Freda Ralph; brother, Gene Ralph; stepson Richard Williams; and stepdaughter, Karen Sue Roper.

Survivors include his wife, Addie Mae Henderson Ralph; son, Steven Ralph; daughters Judy Barnette and Janet Guillford; sister Donna Mae Carey; two grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Georgia Ann Williams; step-grandsons Richard Klay Williams and wife Gayle Dawson Williams, and Shane Roper and wife Wendy; step-granddaughter Jennifer Williams Averitt and husband Brian Christopher Averitt; and step-greatgrandchildren Amelia Elaine Williams, Tyler Roper, and Alexis Sexton and husband Michael and their daughter, Addie Max Sexton.
