Connie Anne Greenberg, 53, died on Jan. 22, 2021 at University Hospital in San Antonio.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 29 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Connie was born March 12, 1967 in Lampasas to Eugene and Jeanette Greenberg.
She graduated from Lampasas High School in 1985, where she was active in XFX, cheerleading and sports.
She received her RN degree from Central Texas College. Connie worked as a registered nurse for more than 33 years in pediatrics, Emergency Room care and home health.
She also ran her own business, Connie's Country Cottage, a veterans’ home care facility. She had a passion for her patients, showing empathy and kindness. Some of her favorite patients were the elderly with amazing stories about life.
She loved her family, her career, her dogs, John Wayne and Audie Murphy, Food Network, Mexican food and reading a morning devotional.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Eugene Greenberg Jr. (Tuny); and her brother-in-law, Hans Valiquette Sr.
Survivors include her partner, Joe Olivas of San Antonio; daughters Victoria McKnight and Michaela Turner (Gabriel); son, Quinn Turner (Kayla); brother, Steven Greenberg (Theresa); sister, Virginia Valiquette; grandchildren Branson and Berkley McKnight, Alyanna and Delilah Diaz, and Jesse James Turner; nieces Hannah Greenberg and Rachael Briggs; nephews Trey and Brandon Greenberg, Hans Dieter Jr., Derek Valiquette, Lee Jr. and Steven Greenberg.
