Despite this week’s cold snap, forecasts call for dry, mild winter

    Last year Lampasas saw a freeze in October and sleet in November. This fall has been warmer, although temperatures Monday night after press time were expected to be some of the coldest yet in 2020. Mild and dry weather is expected to last for much of the winter.
