Despite being consistent playoff contenders, the Lampasas tennis team’s win over Seguin Navarro Oct. 6 marked the first time since 2017 the Badgers have made it past the area championship.
The Badgers put on a dominant performance at Weiss High School in Pflugerville, winning 154. The team claimed the area crown after taking the first 10 matches — seven doubles and three singles — out of 19.
