‘Lampasas -- Hometown, Texas’ premieres to local gathering
Lampasas natives Chase Kuker and Jordan Kuker offered showings last week of their recently completed documentary that tells the story of their hometown. Numerous local residents participated in the project, and their voices narrate the film and describe the legacy of the city. The Kukers said they plan to hold more showings of the documentary and want to take it to film festivals. ERICK MITCHELL | DISPATCH RECORD
Nearly 200 Lampasas residents turned out Friday at The Adelphia for two screenings of the new, locally produced documentary “Lampasas – Hometown, Texas.”
The film, crafted by Chase Kuker and Jordan Kuker — brothers raised in Lampasas who spent years in the Los Angeles film industry before returning home full-time in 2023 — celebrates the town’s rich history, hidden gems and bright future.
