Marion Thurmolene Campbell Jennings, known as 'Honey,' of Lometa, died on June 1, 2026. She was 72.

She was born on June 5, 1953, in San Saba.

Marion graduated from Boswell High School in the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw area. She also attended classes at Central Texas Commercial College.

Marion devoted much of her professional life to public service. She worked in law enforcement communications and dispatch, serving with the Lampasas Police Department, the Copperas Cove Police Department, the San Saba County Sheriff's Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety. She also worked in the banking industry during her career.

Marion was a member of Church of the Hills in Lometa, formerly known as the First Pentecostal Church of Lometa. She enjoyed painting, crafting, sewing, crocheting, knitting and other creative pursuits. Marion took pride in making things by hand and found joy in expressing her creativity. She also dearly loved her canine companion, Boo-Boo.

Marion was preceded in death by her father, Earl Henry Campbell, and her mother, Marion Thurmolene Clark Campbell.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren and siblings.

Graveside services will be held at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa on June 13 at 10 a.m. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas has charge of arrangements.
