The end of the school year always brings a plethora of youth sports camps to the forefront for young athletes in Lampasas.
The first camp on the schedule is a first grade through fifth grade football camp May 11-13. It will take place from 4-6 p.m. each day and costs $35.
A youth tennis camp will run from May 18-21. Firstthrough third-graders will attend from 8-9 a.m., fourth- through sixthgraders will go from 9-10 a.m., and seventh- through ninth-graders will attend from 10-11:30 a.m. each day.
The cost for firstthrough sixth-graders is $24, and the cost for seventh- through ninthgraders is $36.
On May 18-19, a baseball camp will be held at the high school.
First- through fifthgraders will go from 10-11:30 a.m., and camp for sixth- through ninthgraders will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost of this camp is $35.
From May 19-21, there will also be a volleyball camp offered in the high school gym.
Third- through fifthgrade students will go from 10-11:30 a.m., and sixththrough eighth-grade students will go from 1-3 p.m. The cost is $35.
On May 25-26, there will be both a boys’ basketball camp and a softball camp. Each camp will cost $35.
For the boys’ basketball camp, first- through sixthgrade students will attend from 9-11:30 a.m., and seventh- through ninthgraders will attend from 1-3:30 p.m.
In the softball camp, first- through fifth-graders are scheduled from 10-11:30 a.m., and sixth- through ninth-grade students are scheduled from 1-3 p.m.
A girls’ basketball camp will be held May 27-28, when first- through sixthgraders will go from 8:3010:30 a.m., and sevenththrough ninth-graders will go from 12:30-2:30 p.m. The cost is $35.
The final camp listed on the Lampasas athletics Facebook page is a June 3-4 soccer camp for kindergarten through sixth-grade students.
The camp is from 5-7 p.m. each day and costs $30.
On June 1, Lampasas Middle School and Lampasas High School athletes will begin SWAT conditioning. It will run through July, and all seventh- through 12th-grade athletes are encouraged to participate through the summer.
