In what originally was scheduled to be a tri competition between Lampasas, Salado and Lake Belton, the Badgers wound up wrestling in just a dual against Lake Belton High School because of some injuries Salado is dealing with early in the season.
Head coach Donovan Kleckner said the Lampasas varsity boys won the dual 47-31. The varsity girls won 30-24, and the junior varsity lost 29-21.
