James Garland Walsh Jr., 88, of Lometa, died on Nov. 17, 2025.
He was born on Sept. 18, 1937. He lived in the Lometa area for more than 20 years.
James worked for Hamilton Electric for 35 years before retiring to spend his days ranching, which he truly enjoyed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Garland Walsh; his son, James Walsh; and his wives Nancy and Sue.
James is survived by his daughter, Janet Walsh; his sister, Nancy Jaecks; stepson, Steve Todd and wife Denise; grandchildren Kyle Walsh and wife Heather, Alyson Bramlett and husband Alexander, Ashley Brown and husband Zac, and Alex Todd; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held Dec. 2 at 11:30 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home of Lampasas.
