Mark was loved. He lived his life to the fullest and always had a million-dollar smile on his face. He was the youngest of six siblings.
He grew up loving his Shetland pony, Schatzi. He also loved all hamburgers (no cheese) and playing music with his sticks. One of his favorite things to do was visit the fire department.
He attended Lampasas schools and had many special teachers along the way. He enjoyed pep rallies and was the recipient of the spirit stick many times. He attended the Primitive Baptist Church and especially enjoyed their meals.
Mark lived in a group home in Burnet in his 20s and 30s, eventually moving back to Lampasas. He then lived in local nursing facilities the remainder of his life, and his caregivers became like family.
