Some 70 to 80 people turned out Tuesday morning for Lampasas’ annual Veterans Day ceremony at the county courthouse.
In keeping with custom, the celebration took place at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Those key dates and time marked the anniversary of the Nov. 11, 1918, armistice that ended World War I.
