Despite weekend rainfall, the Lampasas County Commissioners Court decided now is not the time to lift the current burn ban. It will remain in effect through Dec. 22.
With a cool front expected to blow into Lampasas County on Wednesday, bringing winds over 30 mph, the court agreed not to lift the ban after an inquiry from a resident.
