Eddie Flynn Blair, 72, of Waco, died peacefully on Aug. 21, 2025.
A memorial service will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Sept. 27 at 10 a.m.
Born on Aug. 1, 1953 in Lampasas, Eddie lived a life defined by hard work, sharp wit and a generous heart.
He started working several jobs in high school and later moved into construction. For a short time, he pursued collegiate golf, a sport he loved deeply, before transitioning into the corporate world, ultimately becoming CEO of Omega Industries.
It was through his work that Eddie met the love of his life, Janet. They built a home in Waco, where they raised their son, Brian.
Janet preceded Eddie in death on Jan. 25, 2022.
Eddie is survived by his son, Brian Blair, and countless friends and colleagues.
