DEATHS

Kenneth “Ronnie” Alexander died on July 3, 2025. He was born on Sept. 4, 1944, in Hamilton to Marvin and Lowell Alexander.

Ronnie was a longtime resident and business owner in Lampasas. A lifelong mechanic, he established Ronnie’s Truck Service in 1982 and later branched out into the trucking industry with Alexander Trucking.

After 37 years in business, he retired in 2019 and spent his days with his family and a tight-knit group of friends golfing, playing dominoes, traveling and partaking in the occasional poker game along the way.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Alexander.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Mylinda and Tim Peacock; his niece, Mechelle Caka, and husband Leonard; his nephews Bill Largent and wife Lexi, and John McNulty and wife Kristi; and his granddaughter, Kenzie Peacock.

Donations in Ronnie’s name may be made to the Hancock Park Golf Association.

A celebration of his life will be held at Country Kitchen on July 26 from 1-3 p.m.
