Former Lampasas High School softball standout Aspen Wheeler took advantage of her opportunities in her freshman campaign at Rider University in the Northeast.Wheeler helped stabilize her team defensively, taking over at shortstop and having a fielding percentage of .951.She also had five doubles and two triples while putting up a .365 batting average in conference play this year....
