A Lometa senior capped off his tennis career in the best way possible, as he won the Conference 1A singles state championship last week in San Antonio.
Ivan Oliver Douwsma won the Class 1A UIL Boys Singles state championship on Friday at the Blossom Tennis Center in San Antonio, and he did so without ever having to play a third set.
