Saturday is voting day for municipal elections in the city of Lampasas and the city of Lometa.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Place Six candidates are the incumbent member, Charlie Pratus, and challenger Alexis Thompson.
Mayor Herb Pearce and Councilman Eric Hernandez also are on the ballot, however they face no opposition for their seats.
At the close of early voting on Tuesday, 264 city residents had cast their votes.
The polling site for this municipal election is the Election Office, 407 S. Pecan St.
In Lometa, a special election is being held Saturday on whether to allow “the legal sale of mixed beverages by beverage certificate holders only” at local restaurants. No council candidates face opposition this cycle, so the Lometa City Council election has been canceled.

Kempner municipal elections also are canceled, as none of the council positions are contested this year.
