    The Badger baseball team is set to take on the Gatesville Hornets Thursday, Friday and possibly Saturday in the first round of the playoffs.

    Lampasas is coming off one of its best regular seasons in several years. The team won 19 games and had a 10-2 district record, finishing just behind Salado for second place.
