    The Lady Badger softball team is competing now in the first round of the playoffs. The girls qualified for the besttwo- of-three series against China Spring after defeating the Jarrell Lady Cougars in a play-in game Tuesday night.

    The 12-5 victory was highlighted by multiple home runs, including two by Brady Burton and a grand slam by Julia Ybarra.
