Angela Marie (Thorman) Stamness, 52, died on March 31, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with multiple health complications and a latestage cancer diagnosis. Despite the hardships she faced, Angela’s spirit remained unbreakable.
She is survived by her husband, Steven; her children Mason and McKenzee; her mother, SeraFina; and her sisters, Terry Lou, Gina, Bobbie Sue and Rosie.
Angela was a caring and hardworking woman, known for her boundless energy and ability to brighten the lives of everyone she met. She was considered the life of the party, always knowing how to bring joy, lift spirits and be a source of unwavering support for those in need.
Angela found joy in crafting and decorating, filling her home with handmade creations that reflected her love for family. A natural host, she made every gathering special, ensuring her home in Gatesville was always a place of laughter, love and togetherness.
To know Angela was to feel loved. She was a fierce advocate for her family and friends, always in their corner no matter what.
A celebration of Angela’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on April 5 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville.
