George Madison Roseberry III, 80, of Lampasas, died at home on Jan. 20, 2025, surrounded by his family.
A memorial visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Feb. 1 from 3-5 p.m.
George was born on June 15, 1944, to George Madison Roseberry Jr. and Doris Jean Roseberry in Temple.
He lived life to the fullest. His biggest fear was wanting to do something and not attempting it. This led him down paths as a pilot, Marine and Scuba instructor.
George also was a dive shop owner and salesman.
Above all, he loved being a husband, father, brother, son and grandfather. His many accomplishments can be seen in the lives he touched during his time on Earth.
George is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janice Helen Roseberry; his children Tracy and John Gannfors of Leander, Warren and Keri Roseberry of Leander, Jason and Diana Roseberry of Lampasas, and Matthew Roseberry of Austin; grandchildren Will Gannfors of Washington, D.C., Andrew Gannfors of Dallas, Kate Roseberry of Austin, Ella Roseberry of Leander and Juan Henriquez of Lampasas; and his siblings Carol Ann and Lanny Dreesen of Houston, and Helen and Billy Lostivica of Belton.
