Daniel Lopez Gonzalez, 80, died on Jan. 9, 2025, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He was born in Mexico on Nov. 21, 1944, to Efren Lopez and Maria Gonzalez.
Rosary will be recited at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Jan. 17 at 6 p.m., with visitation to follow until 8 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lampasas on Jan. 18 at 10 a.m., with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Mendez de Lopez; his sister, Santos Lopez; and a brother, Enrique Lopez.
Survivors include his daughters Maria Eriksen and husband Adam, Lidia Hockley and husband Chuck, and Victoria Esquivel and husband Manuel; his sons Arturo Lopez and wife Sylvia, Eloy Lopez, and Efren Lopez and wife Paulina; grandchildren Veronica Eriksen and fiance Kendell Ciraso, Christian Hockley and fiancee Kimberlyn Kasperitis, Teresa Hockley, Erika Esquivel, Abel Esquivel, Kayla Lopez, Chuy Lopez, Bradley Lopez, Whitney Butler and husband Eric, Isabella Lopez, Olivia Lopez, and Daniel Garcia; greatgrandchildren Alexander Gonzalez, Ezra Santiago Gonzalez, Athena Lopez, Noli Lopez, Sela Lopez and Layne Lopez; his brother, Nacho Lopez and wife Juana; and his sister, Lila Lopez, and husband Cruz Cervantes.
