Charles Glynn Whitehead, 82, died on Dec. 30, 2024.
Visitation was held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Jan. 4, 2025. Graveside services followed at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa.
Glynn was born on July 20, 1942, in San Saba. He grew up in Lometa and spent most of his time working on ranches, a job he thoroughly enjoyed.
Glynn also enjoyed hunting arrowheads and his jewelry. His faith was important to him, and he was a believer.
Glynn was preceded in death by his parents, Edna Baxter and David Leroy Whitehead, and his brother, Weldon Whitehead.
Survivors include his son, Scott Leroy Whitehead and wife Ashley; his daughter, Sandy Kay Johnson; sisters Maxine Anderson, Rita Boren and husband Charles, and Kathye Riofrio and husband Julio; and grandchildren Kylie Moad-Williams, Colten Scott Whitehead and Jaycie Claire Johnson.
