    Lampasas Middle School sixth-grade student Cort Maples has earned accolades showing his miniature Herefords across Texas.Maples, the son of Thad and Heather Maples, is a member of Lampasas County 4-H and also shows market steers.He competed at the West Texas State Fair in Abilene on Sept. 1 where he showed his miniature Hereford.
