Triple digit temperatures to continue this week

Meteorologists are predicting a streak of high temperature days this week, with triple-digit temperatures possible in Lampasas.
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook early Monday morning, citing high temperatures in Lampasas, Bell, Coryell, Hamilton and surrounding counties. 
“Hot conditions will return today with highs in the upper 90s to near 104. Some locations may see heat indices between 105-107,” the outlook read. 
NWS officials predict these high temperatures will last through the week.
“Widespread triple-digit temperatures will persist this week with heat indices in the 100-110 range,” officials said. “Make sure to practice heat safety by staying hydrated and limiting the time spent outdoors.”
According to daily forecasts, Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to see highs in the upper 90s. 
Thursday’s high is expected to reach the upper 90s as well, with a heat index of 105 possible. Friday and Saturday may see a high of 100 degrees with a heat index of 105. 
As of Monday, meteorologists said Sunday’s high could reach 105 with a heat index of 105.
