Karen Ruth Davis Timmons, 58, died on July 25, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Karen was born Aug. 26, 1965, in Lampasas to Roy Eugene Davis and Henrietta Davis Brown.
She attended Lampasas schools for 11 years and graduated from Grand Prairie High School.
She received her Associate degree in accounting.
Karen spent 30 years as a project manager for Haworth Corp. and FMG Inc. before returning to the Lampasas area where she enjoyed working for the T.H. Willis Company in Lampasas.
Sustained by her strong faith in God, Karen was a shining beacon of love and compassion. Her most prized possessions were her faith in God, her son, granddaughter and family. Karen was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Lampasas.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Roy Eugene Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Timmons; mother, Henrietta Davis Brown, and stepfather Tommy Mack Brown; son, Roy Sewell; granddaughter, Lily Sewell; sister, Elizabeth Davis and husband Greg; nephew, Aiden Wiley; niece, Ryan Wiley; stepson, Brian Timmons; one uncle and numerous cousins.
A celebration of her life is being planned, and all interested parties will be notified. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
