Kooper Neil Chaney, 20, of Kempner died at his residence on June 22, 2024.
Kooper was born at St. David’s in Georgetown to Aubrey Hart and Lindsey Chaney Greenwood.
He loved being with family and making people laugh. He also enjoyed football, fishing and writing songs. He grew up in Lampasas and touched many people’s hearts.
Kooper was preceded in death by his greatgrandparents, Charles Chaney and Lola Hall Chaney; his sister, Jadain Breann Greiner; and his cousin, Jerry Worsham Jr.
He is survived by his father, Aubrey Hart, and wife Amy of Bertram; his mother, Lindsey Chaney Greenwood and husband Cris Ford of Temple; brothers Castor Hart and Jacob Bishop; sisters Jennifer Greiner and Rebecca Greenwood; his aunt, Kaly Chaney Worsham, and husband Shawn; his uncle, Jerry Alexander, and wife Denise; aunts Tawnya Branscum and Jennifer Seyfreid; uncles Drexel Gilstrap Jr., and wife Cristien, Dustin Yoho, Jacob Yoho and Brandon Yoho; his grandfather, Charles “Bubba” Chaney; grandmother, Misty Yoho; great-aunts Mickie Chaney and Mary Baldree; cousins Bryton Walker, Brittany West, Kolby St. Clair, Paris Worsham, Machree Worsham, Leeroy Worsham, Kiara Lee, Caleb Alexander, Kutter Alexander, Kylie Alexander, Gavin Branscum and Garit Brancsum; and many other relatives.
