Lampasas County 27th District Court convened briefly last week, with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the hearings.

A waiver of arraignment was filed for William Thomas Dunson of Copperas Cove, and a pretrial hearing for the defendant was moved to July 19. Dunson is charged with possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram.
