As of 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, the Kempner Water Supply Corporation has rescinded a boil water notice today after the company took corrective actions to restore the water quality.
First issued on July 25, the boil water notice was in effect for a week due to Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requirements.
In a statement to customers on Monday, KWSC officials said tests provided to TCEQ indicate that the water is safe to drink.
