David Bryon Richardson, 66, of Lampasas, died on June 22, 2024, at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen.
A memorial visitation will be held July 2 at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas from 5-7 p.m.
David was born to Emory and Florence Richardson on Feb. 8, 1958 in Lampasas. He and his brother, Mark, grew up in a loving family.
David graduated from Lampasas High School in 1976.
He was very proud of his military service in the U.S.
Army and was stationed at Fort Sill in Oklahoma.
David held several jobs across a variety of professions. At the time of his death, he was employed with Walmart in Lampasas, a position he had for more than 20 years.
He was an avid golfer, and for the last three years his brother would travel to Lampasas to meet him at Hancock Park Golf Course where they would play 18 holes together.
David was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his grandmother, Hattie Mae Wesson.
Survivors include his daughters Meagan and Brandi; grandson, Dean; his brother, Mark; and several cousins, especially Crystal and Rachel with whom he was very close.
